We study the non-Markovianity of the dynamics of open quantum systems as a function of system size. We investigate two distinct quantum processes, namely dephasing and relaxation, by considering independent channels. For zero temperature environments, we present an efficient method to evaluate a measure of non-Markovianity recently proposed by Luo, Fu, and Song. We demonstrate that, counterintuitively, the degree of non-Markovianity for both quantum processes can increase with the number of the qubits in the system.
