A Universal Quantum Circuit Scheme For Finding Complex Eigenvalues of
Non-unitary Matrices    [PDF]

In this paper, we present a general circuit design to find the eigenvalues of non-unitary matrices on quantum computers by using the iterative phase estimation algorithm. As an example, we also show that this method can be used to compute complex resonances of non-Hermitian quantum systems.
