Coupling between environment and ultrastrongly interacting composite

In the presence of ultrastrong interactions in system of interest, we show a general procedure for deriving Hamiltonians of system-environment couplings that are expressed by system fields at the boundaries but do not depend on the detail of system of interest in good cavity limit. The coupling Hamiltonians are derived from Lagrangians giving the boundary conditions. The dissipative behavior of system of interest strongly depends on whether the two couplings (system-environment coupling and ultrastrong interactions) are expressed by canonical coordinates or momenta of the system fields.
