A new approach for the ionization amplitudes exctraction from the time-dependent Schrodinger equation (TDSE) solution for a system in a variable external field is proposed. It emerges as the conjunction of the two previously known techniques, namely the time-dependent surface flux (t-SURFF) method and the method based on the solving of a time-independent driven equation whose right hand side is the ionizing wave packet at the end of the external field pulse. It is demonstrated that the new approach combines the advantages of the ancestor schemes by allowing the ionization amplitudes exctraction via the TDSE solving on both small space region (provided the boundary conditions to be forced by the exterior complex scaling (ECS)) as well as the time period not exceeding the external field action duration.
