In tracking the Mean King Problem Alice's task is to track the basis (e.g. the orientation of the quantization axis) of an unspeci?ed Mutual Unbiased Basis (MUB) state measured by the King. Alice is to prepare the state for the King's measurement to her choice, e.g. possibly, an entangled state with only one of the particles accessible to the King. The state she prepares must be such as to allow her, with only one control experiment after the King completes his measurement, to track down the MUB basis used by the King. His measurement is con?ned to ideal measurement of an MUB basis state of dimensionality d = prime 6= 2. He is, however, completely reticent about the basis he used and his experimental outcome.
