Protecting single-photon entanglement with both linear amplification and
concentration    [PDF]

We present an entanglement linear amplification and concentration protocol (ELACP) for single-photon entanglement. We show that both the noise of single photon loss can be amplified and less-entangled state can be concentrated with the help of some local single photons. This protocol only requires some linear optical elements which makes it feasible in current experiment condition. It may be useful in current quantum communication.
